For quite a while the SPRING IN BERLIN is
one of the big HRC Pin Collectors events here in Europe. But
SPRING IN BERLIN 2003 was the best of it all. It was a
perfect event thanks to GM Christian and his great staff at
HRC Berlin - and thanks to Thomas Hass who organized the
event together with the HRC. A lot of
collectors from all over Europe and as far as the US and
China people came to HRC Berlin for the event. We had a
great time in a very relaxed trading atmosphere. The HRC
made us feel really welcome (thanks Christian) and we had a
nice auction and a nice raffle and made some money for
charity. Like in 2002 I was the auctioneer of the event
again and tried hard to do the auction bilingual in german
and english. We had some great bidding wars over some
auction items - and a lot of money came together for charity. To

day was yet to come: The 11th Anniversary Party of HRC
Berlin - on the same night. A lot of collectors were at the
party together with some locals who turned out to be real
party people. There was a great live band, a fantastic and
delicious birthday cake - and of course the staff late at
night did the YMCA with GM Christian dancing right in front.
We all had blast. Thank you HRC Berlin for making it much
better than last year - we all will be back for sure for
SPRING IN BERLIN 2004. To
