2007 dates set for the HRC Cologne Pin Collectors Meetings

New HRC Cologne GM Roland announced during the December Pin Collectors Meeting, that in 2007 the pin collectors will be welcomed at the cafe as always before. So the monthly Pin Collectors Meetings will usually continue to take place on the 1st sunday of every month in the upstairs area. Thanks for allowing us to continue Roland.

Please note, that the October and December trading sessions will take place on the 2nd sunday instead of the 1st sunday of the month. On the 1st Sunday of October the Cologne Marathon will take place and the whole city will be closed for cars and will be packed with people. The December trading event we set to the 2nd Sunday of the month to make sure everybody can attend the big HRC Rome Pin Collectors event on the 1st weekend of December.

The trading sessions will always start at 12 noon.

HRC Cologne invites all HRC Pin Collectors to one of the biggest HRC Pin Collectors events of 2006 - and the biggest HRC Pin Collectors Event in Europe in 2006.

The event will take place on March 18th/19th.

Saturday - March 18th 2006:

10:00AM Event registration begins. Release of first event pin… Get your pins out and get ready to rock, trading has begun!
12:00PM Mystery Pin Contest

8:00PM Second event pin released / Party begins with Live Concert of SAVAGE DREAM - a real ROCKER BAND

Sunday - March 19th 2006:

10:00AM Event breakfast is served, the third event pin released, and pin trading resumes

HRC Cologne Pinapalooza 2005 shedule released

HRC Cologne released the event shedule yesterday for PINAPALOOZA 2005 at HRC Cologne. It will going to be a HELL of a PARTY WEEKEND for all pin collectors.

FRIDAY SEPT 30th:
Evening - Welcome kölsch/cocktail at the bar. One of the 3 limited edition pins released

SATURDAY OCTOBER 1st:
9:00 am - Registration
10:00 am - Second limited edition pin will be released.
11:00 am - Raffle kicks on
3:00 pm - Auction starts (the funds will go to "Krankenhaus Porz am Rhein" - It is a kids hospital in Cologne ). There will be great prizes, not saying anything in before hand.
Right after the auction we will go on with the raffle
Trash trading towards the end of the day (it has turn into a cult thing in our meetings...)
10:00 pm - Live Band - Rock Star will Rock the house.
ROCKSTAR, the band that is going to play for us live on saturday evening, is just fantastic. I have seen them twice and it always was a big party. They play a lot of old 70s and 80s ROCK songs from Stones and AC/DC to Lynyrd Skynyrd and Queen - and they are REALLY good. So for sure this is going to be a big pin collectors PARTY :-)

Also after the live perforamce of ROCKSTAR a very very special DJ will take care of the spinning... Cologne GM Jesus himself will be our personal DJ - and whoever has been to one of his performances knows: That is going to be a hell of a party...

Sunday October 2nd
10:00 - 3rd pin is released
10:00 - Special Pinapalooza Brunch will be served (with lots of vitamins and Bloody Mari's...)
HRC Cologne is working on many activities for Sunday, as Monday is a bank holiday in Germany (Go karting, tickets for the Queen musical (We Will Rock You)...

So: Make your plans for HRC Cologne Pinapalooza 2005. From what we heard so far not only from all over Europe people are coming over for the event - it looks like we even will have some visitors from the States to come over :-)

HRC Cologne to host this years Pinapalooza - as the ONLY Hard Rock Cafe outside of the USA

Corporate in Orlando just announced a few minutes ago the hosting Hard Rock Cafes for this years Pinapalooza 2005. Besides 4 US Hard Rock Cafes (Miami, Minneapolis, Sacramento and Washington DC) Hard Rock Cafe Cologne, Germany, has the honor to host the event.

So HRC Cologne will be the only HRC outside of the USA to host Pinapalooza 2005.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 1st 2005. Details will follow soon but from what I heard the event in Cologne is going to get BIG. On saturday there shall be a big trading session with special event laminate and special limited edition pin. A big auction and a big raffle will take place and lots of other surprises. In the evening then it will be followed by a BIG PARTY with a live band playing...

So make your travel plans to Cologne on October 1st for PINAPALOOZA 2005. See you all there...

Dates set for 2005 HRC Cologne Pin Trading Sessions

HRC Cologne GM Jesus Rodriguez announced the Trading Sessions for 2005 at HRC Cologne during the December event - which was great as always.

Usually the trading sessions stays - as in 2004 - on the 1st Sunday of every month. In Februray (due to Carnival in Cologne), May (to make our dutch friends happy and keep the event away from Queen's Day) and in July (Christopher Street Day on the 1st Sunday of July) we changed it to the 2nd Sunday of the month.

So here are the dates for 2005:
